Volunteers
Much of the work done at the park is volunteer based and if it wasn't for Volunteers the park would not be possible.
We would like to invite anyone to come and volunteer time. Meet new people and have fun learning and being outside.
Highschool Student Volunteer Program
Willow Park is a great place for highschool students to complete their volunteer and community involvement requirement for their diploma. It is fun and easy to volunteer for a weekend event or work a few hours at a time in the park.

Willow Park Ecology
Stewardship Project List 2007
Ê
To ensure that the park continues as an Ecology Centre offering ecology themes that give us unique educational and recreational opportunities the current core group of volunteers remains committed to overseeing the following ecology features of the Park. To support such work, the Committee has applied for funding as a collaborative (of 9 individuals/small businesses/ groups) to the Halton Healthy Community Fund (awaiting review).
Ê
If any of these Òspark your interestÓ, or may be of interest to others in your network, please let us know and we can begin to adopt parts of the projects to keep them moving forward.
