The Friends of Willow Park Program
As a Friend of Willow Park Ecology Centre, you help support the park in two ways: first, with your contributions of money and perhaps time, and second, by helping us prove to our funding organizations that we have the involvement of the local community.
Everyone can become a Friend and help support the park. These are the categories of annual giving:
Annual Memberships
Students & Seniors 65 and over: $15
Adult: $20
Family: $50
Donations
Contributors: $10 to $50
Supporters: $51 to $500
Donors: $501 and over
Funders: Organizations which fund projects and programs
We also recognize "in-kind" donations of products, materials and services.
Benefits of Membership:
- Acknowledgement in Willow Leaf and on this Web site
- Subscription to Willow Leaf
- Invitations to work parties
- The opportunity to add your voice to the future direction of Willow Park
- Discounts on our seminars, workshops and items in our Trading Post
- Invitation to our annual appreciation event
You will also have the satisfaction of:
-helping to restore an urban space to nature
-supporting a diversity of wildlife habitat
-sustaining a passive recreational park
-helping to educate students and the public about ecological issues
In addition, you will have the opportunity of helping to direct the future of the park.
Supporters, donors and funders will also receive acknowledgement within the park for one year.
How to Become a Friend
Send your cheque in to us or and phone to talk to us first. There are many ways you can help out the programs at Willow Park. We are always looking for more people to help.
